Erg Chebbi is an icon for all Maroc Challenge participants and in this Spring Edition 2019 the route would not be the same without it.

The event, which will be held from April 12th to 20th, will have one of its moments of glory right at the outset, which will take place in the unforgettable Marrakech, the city of a thousand and one nights, but all those participants who know it. and those who have heard about it, eagerly await Erg Chebbi, an imposing sea of sand that leads us into the Saharan desert.

Leaving Zagora, following in the tracks of the Winter edition, we continue on to Erfoud, where we will be another two nights -Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th- surrounded by sand. They will be two very demanding stages, the difficulties tailored to each category and in which the sand will be predominant, especially for the Raid category, which will have to navigate over several rows of dunes, among them Erg Chebbi from south to north .

Erg Chebbi, which we will reach after crossing the dunes of Ouzina and the fesh-fesh of Ramlia, awaits us with its spectacular golden dunes, some of them up to 150 meters high. They will, once again, be a rite of passage before the stage ends in Erfoud, where a new looping stage is planned for the following day.
