Preparations for the Maroc Challenge Spring 2025, set to take place from 11th to 19th April, are in their final stages. Very soon, we’ll be announcing some of the exciting new features of this edition.
During the first week of February, a team from the organisation travelled to Morocco to survey the terrain and confirm the routes for this 23rd edition, which comes with significant updates.
The technical checks and the starting line will be in Saïdia, on the shores of the Mediterranean, where part of the route will even take place along the beach itself. From there, we will cross the Plateau de Rekkam towards Midelt, deep in the Atlas Mountains and the finishing point of the first stage. The route will then continue to Erfoud, where participants will stay for three nights and take on two loop stages in the surrounding area, experiencing an incredible festival of sand and dunes.
The fifth stage will lead to Bouarfa, featuring the traditional camp at the old Mengoub train station. Finally, the sixth and last stage will take us back to Saïdia, after crossing the always spectacular Chott Tigri.
During our scouting week, we explored new, undiscovered areas in search of alternative routes and terrains, staying true to our commitment to continuous course renewal. As always, the challenge will be adapted to the different categories of participants.
Stay tuned via our social media and website, as some exciting news is on the horizon, making this Spring 2025 edition even more thrilling. The adventure awaits!
