After the spectacular visit to Zagora in the last edition of the Maroc Challenge, discovering majestic landscapes that are the gateway to the Great South of Morocco, we will repeat the experience in the Spring Edition, which will be held from April 12 to 20.

In this adventure that you cannot miss, you will discover new areas with stunning landscapes and wonderful scenery, crossing the Iriki – a dry lake that impresses, and the Erg Chegaga with its complicated dunes that the participants in the Raid category will have to overcome with dexterity.

Three variations have been made with respect to the route from Winter. First, this time we will go through the Sacred Oasis, where you will find the Land Rover ‘in ruins’ that appears in many photos, we will enter for the first time by the Erg Rhoual after passing the Iriki and we have also prepared a variation of the imposing river of sand in the direction of M’hamid.

Adventure is assured in one of the least known areas for those who travel to Morocco, in search of the sensations generated by the immensity of the desert.  We will spend two nights in Zagora, on the banks of the Draa, which is the door of the Sahara … By the way, a gastronomic recommendation –  take advantage of our stay to taste a little watermelon (pastèque, in French), since in the surroundings of the city you can see many fields of its cultivation and the area has become one of the main suppliers of watermelon for the European market.
